From 1758 till today

The Dal Marcante 1758 s.r.l has been founded by two brother sharing the passion for being in touch with customers. Mirian is the referral for the local store, clothing and supermarlet in Andalo, Paolo is taking care of the new format in Trento.

History

Dal Marcante is the nickname of our Family, and it became the brand and the icon of our family. Our ancestors and among them, the most ancient one thatwe know, the famous Antonio named Il Marcante “The Merchant” since 1758 have been carring out commercial activities about local products. In andalo we also do catering and hotel business.

“We are the 7th generation of merchants as our familt tree says. 1758 is the date reported on a notary act signed by Antonio known as Il Mercante, that signs the start of our activity.”
The commitment of our family, always tied to his roots, is to find oput and enhance the local produtcs from Trentino and the Alps.
“We were born italians under the austro hungarian empire. In 1918, more than a century ago, at the end of 1st WW, my family started the year as austro-italian. But at Christmas we became italian, annexes to Italy! But we never moved from Andalo and Maso Fovo!”

*we had certainty of the existance of Antonio Banal in our family tree. Confirmed in a notary act saying “Antonio known as Il Marcante seed and agricultural merchant”…dated 1758. We decided that date was the icon of our history.
